Position Overview:

The SAP Customer Support Specialist is primarily responsible for overseeing SAP transactions for a specified group which includes quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, inventory reconciliation, inventory and sales reporting, document control.

 

In this newly created position, this individual will be a Superuser of SAP, assisting troubleshooting issues and supporting the customer service team with SAP related items.

 

Key Duties:

  • Keep SAP SOP’s up to date for the Customer Service team
  • Attend all meetings as required for new SAP implementations and changes
  • Manage data cleansing and maintain customer master including the assigned Employee, RSM and Director for each customer for customer service team
  • Conduct testing of new processes to ensure they are correct
  • Complete daily required transactions as assigned in SAP/Bluebee for the Customer Service group.
  • Understand and utilize product specifications to efficiently ensure customer items are setup correctly
  • Review the master data requests that come from the Customer Service Department for accuracy
  • Liaise with internal departments (Procurement, Shipping, Sales & Operations, US Teams – for intercompany transactions) to troubleshoot issues and design processes as required.
  • Provide support to reconcile quotes, sales orders and reporting issues.
  • Assists customers and other staff by answering questions related to SAP
  • Train new hires on SAP
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications   

  • Two (2) or more years of related experience required
  • SAP utilization and troubleshooting experience required
  • Customer Service experience or exposure required
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, BlueBee, SAP).
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and re-prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail, monitor and check work or information
  • Problem solving and prioritization
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with a strong work ethic
