Gilbert Mechanical is seeking a Controls Project Manager candidate with a proven track record of managing complex temperature control projects for a variety of customers. The successful candidate will report to the Control Department Manager and will be responsible for the financial outcome and customer satisfaction of every opportunity. The skills required to accomplish this include accurate bidding, careful planning, financial tracking and strong communications.
Responsibilities
- Estimate and sell temperature control projects to a variety of commercial customers
- Coordinate field personnel on projects sold
- Manage project costs
- Communicate scheduled activities with customers, subcontractors and field personnel
- Attend jobsite meetings as required
- Identify and resolve issues/conflicts as they arise
- Maintain and develop customer relationships.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of successful Project Management experience for a temperature control construction
- company
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
