Bru Bar Barista (FT or PT)
Job Duties and Responsibilities |
· Welcomes customers by determining their food and drink interests and needs. · Educates customers by presenting and explaining the drink menu; answering questions. · Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques such as expresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino. · Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. · Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies. · Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs. · Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. · Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, implementing changes, maintaining and improving the appearance of the coffee bar. · Other duties as assigned. |

Education: · High School diploma or equivalent required. Physical & Other Requirements: · While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear. · The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. · The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. · The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. · Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule. · Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration. · Non-smoking candidates preferred. |
