Pay Class: Part Time 

Shifts/Availability: Flexible/ AM or PM shift
Rate: $18.00-$25.00

 

About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine: The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all. 
 

Position Purpose:  The Oskar Lasko YMCA is looking for an experienced Driver to transport our campers during our summer camp program.  
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Transport campers and YMCA staff to other YMCAs and to field trip locations 
  • Prepare and check the safety and operational effectiveness of the vehicle 
  • Report any safety concerns to the supervisor immediately 
  • Maintain the vehicle in good working order ensuring all required maintenance has been performed 
  • Maintain trip schedule for children as defined by supervisor 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor 

Qualifications: 

  • 3 years of bus driving experience preferred, 5 years preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older 
  • CDL driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements required 
  • Submit medical clearances to the supervisor to maintain CDL credentials 
  • Annual completion of defensive driving training required 
  • Good driving record required
