The role…

Provide engineering and technical expertise for the Board production facility, in order to continuously improve plant safety, quality and productivity.

How you’ll make an impact…

• Guide efforts in support of manufacturing productivity with process troubleshooting, quality improvements and training.
• Collect and analyze data, monitor key variables, document findings in report form.
• Lead process-engineering and continuous improvement support for new and existing products.
• Provide on-call technical support for the St. Johnsbury manufacturing facility and assist to troubleshoot board machines or quality issues.
• Run development trials to optimize operations on the board machines and within the components area. 
• Interact and collaborate daily with Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operators and Lab personnel to implement changes and improve process performance.
• Manage projects; including the purchase, install and startup of new process equipment, the enhancement of existing processes, and the development of new products

What do you bring…

• Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and three to five years experience in a manufacturing setting desired.  
• Effectively utilize computer-based applications including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in team based activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated
• Willingness to teach and train others.
