About You

Job Responsibilities:  

• Scout the orange County area to identify and recruit subcontractors for construction projects.
• Plan and execute recruiting events to attract potential candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews for Regional Construction Managers, ensuring timely and efficient hiring processes.
• Organize, schedule, and conduct candidate interviews to assess qualifications and fit for projects.
• Obtain and maintain necessary insurance and licenses for subcontractors as required by company policies and regulations.
• Maintain up to date and organized crew files, including documentation of qualifications, licenses, and certifications.
• Assist in office administration duties as needed, including but not limited to data entry, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience & Skills:   

• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate in both languages.
• Ability to travel to all 5 of our Southern California locations weekly (Santa Ana, San Marcos, West Covina, Riverside, and Newbury Park)
• Previous recruiting experience in live industrial, construction, or home improvement is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with CSLB website and license codes, or ability to quickly learn and navigate such platforms.
• Proficient negotiation and sales skills to attract and retain top talent.
• Knowledge of insurance as it relates to the construction industry, demonstrating an understanding of its importance in ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
• Consistency in approach and ability to strategize effectively to meet recruitment objectives and company goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook, Teams)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Professional demeanor on the phone and in person
