About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our APAC team as a Marketing Manager based in Taiwan. The Marketing Manager supports the team with supporting both day to day and long term needs of brand programs that increase sales for the Subway Brand.  This will be accomplished through strategic involvement with National campaign development including advertising, digital and social content, promotions and in-store messaging.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Planning and Campaign Execution
    • Partner with key stakeholders to develop short- and long-term marketing and media plans in Taiwan.
      • Work with Regional Team to develop marketing calendars and briefing materials for marketing programs that support overall window campaign
      • Manage the food cost and projection of LTO items, and work together with IPC and innovation team to manage food cost efficiency
      • Work with agencies through campaign development process
      • Lead program execution and assets development
      • Ensure that assets are being developed on time and within budget and ladder up to current brand objectives
      • Attend key meetings and conference calls.
      • Able to oversee production shoots, color proofs
      • Oversee 3PD vendors and set overall annual 3PD strategies
  • Manage day to day execution and of brand plans:
    • Actively manage and respond to needs of cross functional teams during program activation
    • Analyze performance of brand programs and respond with opportunities to improve plans to achieve goals and increase sales
    • Overseeing POS keys for campaigns
    • Updating menus in 3PD portals
  • Agencies:  Provide strategic brand direction and lead efforts with creative, media, and PR agencies. Ensure ARB process is adhered to and all campaign materials om collaboration with our legal team.
  • Budgets: Manage budget forecast and spending.  Ensure monies are spent to maximize efficiencies and sales.  Ensure spending is in line with the IFAF Governance manual
  • Franchisee Management:
    • Understand marketing needs and making sure marketing activities well meet market needs
    • To attend key meetings with FZ
    • To propose Local Restaurant Marketing Strategies
  • Assist Regional team/Head of Marketing APAC with regional initiatives

 

 

Qualifications (some examples listed below):

  • Degree in Marketing/Advertising or any related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a food service experience, preferably with agency or corporate brand marketing teams with experience in QSR
  • Technical Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize workload and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, detail oriented
  • Interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills with a self-motivated attitude to work.
  • Integrated Marketing: Able to oversee IMC, that seamlessly integrates various channels with a unified brand message
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to effectively convey and articulate marketing strategies and messages
  • Creativity: Generate innovative ideas and solutions for marketing campaigns
  • Strong design sense: Strong design sense and able to brief agencies and vendors effectively
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, KOL engagement, SEM, online ad formats
  • Project Management skills: Able to oversee and coordinate multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills
  • Collaborative and a team player
