Summary

This position is a part of OHIP’s Division of Data Services & Analytics (DDSA) within the Bureau of Product & Process Management (BPPM). The candidate in this title will be part an agile team focused on proactively engaging Medicaid Program SMEs to elicit and document institutional knowledge on stakeholder and customer needs to understand how solution testing strategies are influenced by policy and regulatory processes that span the Medicaid enterprise. The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for supporting the Solution Testing Team and will play a key role in BPPM’s ability to consistently deliver successful and meaningful data products by contributing to a team that oversees solution testing activities for the BPPM Development Unit in its effort to implement high quality, successful and meaningful data products. 

The candidate in this role will be responsible for supporting the solution testing and planning strategies, solution test design and environment builds, solution testing execution, artifact creation and change management support as needed. Under this title, the candidate will be responsible for contributing towards execution of development and implementation of strategies and solutions to carry out the mission of the unit.

Educational Background 

  • The successful candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science or a related field and/or up to 5-6 years of relevant work experience 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • The successful candidate in this title will gain and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Medicaid data, solution testing principles and best practices. 
  • The candidates must be thorough, detailed oriented, and possess strong communication skills to effectively develop and implement successful and comprehensive solution testing strategies for DDSA data products. The candidate will also produce and maintain testing artifacts and verification reporting.
  • The candidate will be responsible for contributing to solution testing and planning strategies, solution test design and environment builds, solution testing execution, artifact creation and change management support as needed. In this role, the candidate will coordinate with the team and unit leads on status reports, and project schedules for the creation of the institutional knowledge domains.
  • The candidate will work collaboratively with DDSA technical teams to identify use cases for advanced technologies including AI/ML.
  • The candidate will work collaboratively with DDSA technical teams to implement advanced technologies into the testing environment and process.
  • The candidate will also maintain and update testing artifacts. 
  • In this title, the candidate will create documentation of institutional knowledge processes elicited through SME engagement. 
  • Support SMEs with research and information gathering to fully document process.
  • The candidate will collaborate closely with the Solution Design Team to ensure solutions are understood and testing plans and efforts are comprehensive. 
  • The candidate will support testing automation activities to create and deploy repeatable, scalable, and effective testing solutions. 
  • Coordinate updates or changes to scope of production development and deployment strategies and activities pertinent to the project scope defined by unit and BPPM leadership. 
  • Coordinate with technical and program SMEs where appropriate in addition to the other BPPM teams for the development of solution testing strategies.
  • The candidate will work closely with BPPM bureaus and stakeholders to support the change management process with regards to testing outcomes and implications. 
  • Serve as DDSA’s internal SMEs on DDSA production development and deployment. 
  • Attend all internal and external meetings as assigned by the unit lead and by BPPM leadership.

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role.
