Our Development Engineering Technicians perform experiments for the Advanced Technology Services (ATS) Engineering team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Compressed shift, ATS Techs are the hands-on support for all development material running in the factory, 24x7.
  • Communicate to Development Engineers on nights/weekends when ATS material is not moving in the factory.
  • Troubleshooting and disposition of non-conforming material.
  • Performs standard and advanced engineering experiments from our online ATS Technician Request system.
  • Will become proficient to process wafers across all fab toolsets (100+).
  • Utilize continuous improvement and engage colleagues within operations group to eliminate waste and improve product quality.
  • Operate with a reasonable level of independence. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years technician experience in a semiconductor fabrication facility or equivalent cleanroom/manufacturing experience.
  • Strong understanding of Semi processing in one of the following areas: Photo, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, or Implant/RTA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Requires the ability to work B shift, which includes a 10% shift differential, and defined as Sunday through Tuesday in one week, and Sunday through Wednesday in the other week from 6:00 pm to 6:15 am, 12.25 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period in mid-shift.  Shift assignments may change over time in support of business operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years technician experience in a semiconductor fabrication with a 2-year or greater degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Prior experience with continuous improvement of a process.

U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship
