Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec (Hybrid / Flexibility policy)

Status: Full-time, permanent (1)

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for attracting talent in an environment where recruitment plays a strategic role for the company. You will greatly contribute to Quadra's success by supporting our unique culture, our vision of being an employer of choice by identifying, evaluating, and selecting the best talent to contribute to Quadra’s success in Canada and the United States.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, what will be your primary responsibilities? How will you support the team? :

Partnership – Talent Acquisition (70%):

  • Build trust-based relationships with managers, the HR team, and candidates
  • Complete the entire recruitment process (internal mandate, job posting, phone interviews, virtual and in-person interviews, psychometric tests, candidate presentations, interviews with managers, background checks, etc.).
  • Evaluate the skills of different candidates
  • Collaborate with managers to establish a clear and structured recruitment process
  • Actively participate in the implementation of recruitment and candidate experience strategies with various managers
  • Prepare and manage job postings on the careers page as well as on other relevant job websites (LinkedIn & Indeed); manage the career page and update content to remain relevant and adequately promote available opportunities
  • Draft employment contracts, offer letters (in support of internal mobility), role changes, etc.
  • Support managers and act as an expert/advisor to effectively target workforce needs (planning, recruitment, retention)
  • Adopt a proactive strategy to find candidates for vacant positions
  • Actively participate in the candidate and employee experience by maintaining excellent communication with candidates and supporting them from the onboarding to the integration process
  • Work closely with the Learning and OD team, Payroll team, HRBPs and our HRIS specialist to support the integration of new employees

 

Employer Brand (20%):

  • Work jointly with the Communication and Marketing team to promote Quadra as an employer of choice
  • Assist in creating and promoting the employer brand by being a Quadra ambassador internally and externally, ensuring a presence on social media by promoting Quadra
    • Ensure job descriptions and postings are up to date by working with managers
    • Update our careers site via HRIS
  • Collaborate with the Learning & OD team on our HR Newsletter and Employee Experience platform
  • Oversee Quadra's referral program and implement innovative solutions to enhance the employee value proposition
  • Stay updated on the latest market innovations and best practices and make recommendations to managers, members of the leadership team, and the HR team

 

HR Projects (10%):

  • Participate in and support multiple HR projects :
    • Build and analyze reports that we present quarterly and annually to the Leadership Team
    • Collaborate with the Learning and OD team on internal training activities
    • Support our internal student program

What are the key skills and requirements to be successful in the role of Talent Acquisition Advisor? :

Education and Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or Business Administration with an HR Management option
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in in talent acquisition/recruitment in a fast-growing and evolving environment or equivalent HR experience as a generalist or advisor
  • Demonstrated experience in the full recruitment cycle
  • Good general knowledge of human resources and labor laws
  • Being a member of the Order (CRHA/CHRP) is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian job market
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English (bilingualism required) with a focus on influencing and marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the use of social media (LinkedIn & Indeed)
  • Ability to travel Canada & US (5-10%)
