Job Summary:

The Employee Benefits Manager, will be responsible for and involved with managing an existing book of business. Your primary objective will be to foster strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide strategic guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing management of employee benefit plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, maintaining regular communication and building strong relationships.
  • Understand client objectives, needs, and challenges related to health and benefits programs, and provide strategic recommendations to address them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as brokers, consultants, and HR professionals, to develop and implement comprehensive health and benefits solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to provide updates, review program performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of benefit plan documentation, including contracts, summaries, enrollment materials, and communications.
  • Assist clients with plan design, coverage options, and cost analysis to optimize their health and benefits programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and proactively share insights and recommendations with clients.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze data, and provide reports and recommendations to clients to support decision-making and program enhancements.
  • Manage open enrollment processes, including communication campaigns, employee education, and enrollment system coordination.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and other service providers, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Resolve client inquiries, issues, and escalations promptly and effectively, providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent industry knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives while maintaining high-quality standards.

Compensation:

  • $60k plus commission
  • Commission structure: 37.5% new business and 25% renewal

Schedule: FT, M-F
