Job Summary:

The Licensed Insurance Agent is expected to jump into a fast-paced, friendly, and professional work environment. You will be responsible for managing phones and providing a positive customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients and help them understand and determine their individual personal line service needs. 

• Managing and servicing personal lines insurance accounts, such as auto, home, and personal liability.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing expert advice.
• Analyzing policy coverage and making recommendations for adjustments.
• Handling customer inquiries and claims.
• Preparing insurance quotes and proposals.
• Keeping accurate records and documentation.
• Staying up to date with industry regulations and product knowledge.
• Collaborating with underwriters and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Three years’ experience in the insurance industry, specifically within personal insurance or property & casualty insurance 
• Account management experience (preferred) 
• Valid state Property and Casualty License 
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as standard invoicing software 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Competitive and commensurate with experience
