Job Summary:

Provide sales and marketing support for commercial lines insurance products. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs. Evaluate clients' existing policies and recommend appropriate coverage options. Prepare and deliver insurance proposals to clients. Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. Collaborate with underwriters to ensure proper coverage and pricing. Stay current with industry trends and insurance regulations. Attending networking events and industry conferences to build a client base. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities. Handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Sell new accounts and renew existing ones in keeping with agency and individual goals while building relationships with clients.

·       Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources provided by the agency, by cold calls and phone contact.

·       Develop information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new account.

·       Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, as well as agency staff, to minimize potential for error and omission claims.

Qualifications:

·      10 + years Insurance sales experience;2-year or 4-year degree preferred.

·       Strong sales aptitude.

·       Willingness to make prospecting calls and network to develop new business.

·       Exceptional customer service skills.

·       Disciplined, well organized, and self-motivated person.

·       Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills.

·       Strong written and oral communication skills.

·       Strong organization and follow up skills.

·        Willingness and ability to travel independently to client and prospect meetings on a regular basis.

Compensation:

• Competitive and commensurate with experience
