Job Summary: 

The Employee Benefits Account Manager will be the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage assigned clients by acting as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.
  • Market new and existing accounts for new business brought in by Producers or existing accounts at renewal. Completing the market analysis for Producers to present to clients.
  • Assist in retaining clients through excellent customer service which includes open and clear communication with clients, producers, general agents and insurance carriers. Ensure accurate and timely responses between all parties.
  • Process transactional changes for clients as necessary, including adding employees, terminating employees, updating addresses, etc.
  • Identify problems, summarize, develop and communicate solutions with regards to all aspects of the insurance process and utilization. Provide resolution for employee issues such as enrollment, utilization and billing issues.
  • Renew existing and install new group insurance contracts utilizing resources to match client needs.       
  • Educate, advise and aid clients on all insurance topics and compliance staying current on industry and product changes. Resolve any problems the client may be having with claims, premiums, enrollment
  • As needed, prepare materials for client and open enrollment meetings including but not limited to carrier educational materials, PowerPoint presentations, reports and forms (enrollment and implementation).
  • Maintain the agency database for assigned clients.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Compensation:

  • Competitive and commensurate with experience

 

Schedule:  

  • FT
  • M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
