We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join our team at Insurance Associates of the Triad. As an Account Manager, you will be a key contributor to the success of our agency, fostering strong client relationships, and managing a portfolio of commercial accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing personalized solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and policy-related matters.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coverage adequacy.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to address client needs and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients, analyzing their businesses to recommend appropriate coverage.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations impacting clients' insurance needs.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, policy details, and transactions.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Relevant insurance licenses and designations (e.g., CIC, CRM) are a plus.
