Job Summary:
This is a service position responsible for supporting Commercial Account Managers in their efforts to complete policy renewals and changes to policies through timely and accurate documentation. In addition, this position completes various data entry projects and provides proof of insurance to financial and other entities, prepares proposals, and completes various forms as assigned. This is a transition role to become a Commercial Lines Account Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve goals established at annual performance review
- Provide excellent internal customer service
- Reviews renewals and note discrepancies and large premium increases and communicate findings to Account Manager
- Enter and maintain accurate and clear information within agency computer system regarding client, agent, and carrier.
- Issue appropriate documentation as needed including certificates of insurance
- Accurately and timely process endorsements
- Compose or assists in composition of highly technical or sensitive correspondence
- Adheres to established guidelines and protocols for workflow and system documentation
- Follow established agency procedures and guidelines and adhere to the employee manual
- Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, listening, written and verbal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Property and Casualty Insurance License
- Minimum 1 year office or customer service experience
Compensation:
- $20.00 - $23.00 / HR DOE
