Location: 50 Hartz Way, Suite 1, Secaucus, NJ 07094 (travel to local branches as well)

Pay: $79,000 per year, depending on experience, with bonus potential

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; open availability needed to support fluctuating demands

Employment Logistics: 

The Field General Manager’s role is to provide high level support to the Regional General Manager and operation units. The incumbent has all the required GM experience, is flexible, and can easily step into a facility and identify areas that require improvement. The incumbent will travel to facilities to implement operational processes and strategies to improve performance.

The Must-Haves: 

• GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
• Ten years of industry experience; or less with Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 10 years of lead or supervisor experience in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite
  
• Reliable transportation; frequent travel expectations

Your Mission in Motion:

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
• Works with Engineering department to develop operational standards.
• Implements and trains operations on how to use the standards and processes developed to gain efficiencies in the operation.
• Visits facilities and reevaluates how they are performing offering assistance in any needed areas.
• Works with Regional General Manager (RGM) to create and manage strategic projects.
• Performs at the local General Manager (GM) level during incumbent’s absences or leave of absence or as an interim GM during staffing transition.
