Safety Analyst

Summary:       

The Safety and Risk Analyst coordinates and evaluates safety programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities. Compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, TRIR /LTIR, and creates presentations. Assists with the development of training, educational programs, and communications on safety policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential safety issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events.

Responsibilities:

The Safety and Risk Analyst will design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support the OnTrac Safety Team and cross-functional teams. This position in part develops  and updates scorecards and assists with developing safety programs and policies.

• Develop reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Collaborate with teammates and management to gain an understanding of business needs and objectives.
• This position effectively communicates and interacts with Safety, Loss Prevention, and Worker’s Compensation departments. 
• Address and resolve complex problems; take an outside-in perspective to identify innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with the stakeholder team to analyze the pros and cons of competing options.
• Display an eagerness to learn new technologies and actively engage in personal development.
• Ensure timely, accurate, streamlined, and consistent reporting/analytics for all internal customers.
• Take ownership and responsibility of job assignments and keep management/team well informed of unexpected obstacles or challenges.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting in addition to continual ad-hoc requests.

Minimum Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years experience in related field

• Up to 10% Travel
