Summary
Under the supervision of a Program Coordinator or Recreation Specialist, this position will be responsible to develop and/or lead various recreational activities. Must be available to work flexible hours and schedules to include weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service to the patrons, renters, and the general public both on the phone and in person
- Develops, leads, and supervises general recreation programs activities and special events
- Opens and closes various facilities and performs facility attendant duties
- Maintains essential records, prepares reports
- Receives money and records registration membership information
- Uses internal system for tracking patron daily attendance and financial operations of program
- Performs daily tasks such as cleaning, filing, sorting, answering phones, copying
- Conducts pre/post event rental checklists with renters
- Assists with the setup, cleanup, and breakdown of programs, events, and activities
- Follows administrative, financial, and safety policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of two years of High School
- One (1) year of experience as a recreation leader or a related role
