Title:    Commercial Manager Field Service Operations

 

Summary: Supports the implementation of field service management application and Commercial operations

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with field service engineers to streamline processes in field service
  • Support implementation and continuous rollout of Field Service Management application
  • Works closely with end users to develop efficient tool
  • Direct support in rollout of application through “go-live” stage and ongoing after rollout
  • Participate in system design workshops to share suggestions and recommendations
  • Align on potential changes/features in own organizational area (with users and managers)
  • Testing (new) FSM features and procedures prior to training / implementation incl. provision of aligned test documentation
  • Provide feedback on training documentation (provided by implementation project, maintained by product owner)
  • Check provided (standard) test scenarios and add specific ones (acc. to site / team etc.)
  • Assist in (end user) trainings prior to FSM implementation (trainings lead by project staff)
  • Report to / align with their superiors as well as core team member representing their organizational area
  • Use C4S, FSM and corresponding tools and systems acc. to the defined procedures
  • Support users in FSM usage and communicate bugs or suggestions for improvements to FSM product owner
  • Participate in a Key User knowledge sharing exchanging experiences and best practices
  • Directing the opportunities created by field service activities and service reports into the service cloud database to satisfy the opportunity KPI.
  • Review and direct field service reports to sales and Dali database
  • Create Synergies between FS management and sales to speed up the invoicing process, with focus on project closeout, document completion and recording of opportunities.
  • Cost track ongoing projects and notify project owners of approaching purchase order limits
  • Support the increasing demand for administrative support in field service
  • Improve our accuracy, timeliness, and delivery of quotes to sales.
  • Improve team continuity by conducting workshops to discuss issues and opportunities to improve team motivation.
  • Update field services policies to be in line with regional policies
  • Maintain utilization KPI and issue report monthly.
  • Maintain training records and competence matrix for all field service engineers
  • Contact customers on regular basis to establish satisfaction level and setup lessons learned meetings.
  • Propose and implement, standardized tools based on technical maintenance recommendations.
  • Manage & execute operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems, working together with the Sales Team.
  • Handle order processing from beginning to end for MAN customers. For projects / strategic planning and technical support.
  • Assure to follow internal MAN rules and regulations.
  • Support Academy if needed to perform management and administrative tasks.
  • Sales support and other management administration.
  • Receive purchase orders and route accordingly. Process order confirmations
  • Support invoice processing accordingly to the company approved procedures.
  • Creates and prepares invoices to customers and partners for payment in the right order by mail and email.
  • Maintain archive of all records on file.
  • Create purchase requisitions for all jobs and office related requests.
  • Reconcile open statements submitted by suppliers.
  • Assists and creates jobs/quotes for service requests.
  • Checks timesheets and expenses for job related service request and work detail for invoices.
  • Logistics/procurement.
  • File and organize documents and appropriated folders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assure to follow internal MAN rules and regulations.

 

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college/university or equivalent education preferred.

 

Required Experience: Four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Physical Requirements: The majority of the time of this position requires operating in a typical office environment sitting at a desk and using telephones and personal computers.
