Consulting Engineer

Key Performance Objectives

• Collaborate with packaging partners to adapt a European-based electrolyzer to meet US codes and standards.

• Develop comprehensive specification sheets for modules of electrolysis systems to be manufactured by packaging partners.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process flow diagrams (P&ID) and data sheets, in compliance with relevant standards.

• Provide engineering expertise in pure water technology, gas treatment technology, EX zones, ventilation, and air conditioning for steering of the packaging partner.

• Design and describe measurement, control, and regulation concepts in line with project requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards and vulnerabilities.
• Initiate and support cost reduction measures to optimize project budgets and expenditures.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in process engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of five years of professional engineering experience in plant design of process plants, power plants, O&G, or similar with a focus on gas technology and gas processing.
• Proven track record in creating specification sheets for packagers and proficiency in conducting technical negotiations.
• Knowledge of process circuit design, gas supply and disposal systems, and application of relevant standards and guidelines.
• Familiarity with US and international standards such as ASME, UL, NEC, CSA, and NFPA.
• Highly independent with a strong sense of responsibility, quick comprehension, and a passion for analytical and creative problem-solving.
• Good proficiency in MS Office applications.

MAN Energy Solutions offers a hybrid work schedule consisting of two days in the office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and three days at home.
