BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Manage Regional Service Department activities and staff to provide excellent service support and training to Kubota dealers and customers.

 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

 

  • Provide division service representatives with technical expertise and guidance.
  • Create, implement, and execute technical training programs, seminars and schools for Kubota dealers in assigned division. Manage related budget.
  • Review, resolve, and document customer dissatisfaction issues, in partnership with dealer network and KTC service field staff. Update and manage Customer Contact database.
  • Administer, promote, and manage Technical Service Certification Program for division dealers. Set annual goals for field staff to continuously improve quality of KTC customer service support.
  • Responsible for the administration of the annual business plan and budget of assigned department.
  • Complete and submit various Service Department reports such as technical service reports, travel/call records, monthly department activity reports and other reports as required.  

 

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Special projects may include serving as the designated chairman of the Division Safety Committee to maintain a safe working environment and conform to County, State, and Federal regulations.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Mechanics, Engineering or related field and 5 to 7 years related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership skills, including the ability to motivate staff.
  • Mechanical knowledge of agricultural, turf, and construction equipment.
  • Ability to professionally handle confrontational issues.
  • Proficient using a computer, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective teaching/training skills.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
