RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be passionate about food (specifically ice cream and coffee!) and customer service
  • Be a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and leadership skills who can multi-task.
  • Understand that customer satisfaction always takes priority, but efficient outlet operations make it possible.
  • Execute and track financial transactions as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Lead the service team to a level of high service, job satisfaction, and efficiency.
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction during all meal periods.
  • Exemplify local community stewardship.
  • Promote a team mentality within the outlets and all Food & Beverage areas.
  • Identify and delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
  • Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the resort.
  • Responsible for scheduling and payroll, as well as implements new company policies and procedures by developing plans, standard operating procedures and teaching staff.
  • Assist in conducting staff and daily pre-shift meetings to properly provide direction to staff to achieve daily retail and outlet goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and and place orders with vendors.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to identify employee weaknesses and assess performance on an ongoing basis, and retrain as necessary.
  • Create a memorable and positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service, and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Ensure the outlets meets or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness at all times.
  • Solicit guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
  • Complete all required training in all areas of the outlets to ensure proficiency and ability to direct staff by training and coaching on guest service principles and practices.
  • Follow outlet policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security.
  • Monitor and maintain the point of sale system, and will assist in any areas of the outlets when staffing constraints require.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as these products are highly utilized as a team (Excel, Word, etc).
  • Must be able to give direction and delegate responsibilities, as well as work in a fast paced environment while remaining calm and professional at all times.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, coworkers, and management to their understanding is required.
  • Uphold the core values and policies and procedures of the resort.
  • Experience with working with retail items and inventory.
  • All other duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent GED, is required; an Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in a management role, is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age required to be able to mix and serve alcohol.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business levels require.
  • Point of Sales system (InfoGenesis or other) experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
