Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse - Precertification

POSITION SUMMARY: The Precertification nurse is responsible for obtaining authorization for medical services, which includes the review and application of medical policy and insurance regulations in conjunction with the medical team at Hattiesburg Clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years prior medical/surgical clinical experience. Formal training, which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited school of nursing and current State licensure. Prefer candidates with prior Precertification/case management experience, with a strong understanding of insurance regulations, reimbursement and coding Candidates must be able to work independently in a high volume environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication and computer skills are required.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
