Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse, Dr. Waller - Dermatology South
POSITION SUMMARY: The CMA or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergency, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.
QUALIFICATIONS: Formal training, which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited CMA program or LVN/LPN school of nursing; current State licensure or CMA Certification.
Preferred accomplishments include nursing experience and current CPR certification. Personal skills include a willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; the ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to work compatibly with physicians, other department members, and clinic employees in other departments.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
