Claratel Behavioral Health is an innovative, community-based behavioral health and developmental disabilities services organization located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, offering a full range of mental health services, developmental disabilities programs and substance abuse treatment to more than 11,000 citizens annually who are uninsured and underinsured.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

          • Provides oversight for the Department of Performance and Quality Improvement, including Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, and Workforce Development.
          • Develop and monitors departmental goals in alignment with the organization’s mission and vision, maximizing departmental capacity.
          • Supervising managers and leads to ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
          • Oversees implementation of activities outlined in the organization’s Quality Improvement Program plan.
          • Directs needs-based workforce development programs and initiatives.
          • Develops and monitors external corrective action plans for adherence.
          • Establishing and maintaining direct relationships with external partners to achieve organizational strategic goals.
          • Assists with and leads external audits, surveys, and reviews.
          • Develops and reviews standard operating procedures.
          • Serves as a subject matter expert for staff and Executive Leadership teams.
          • Duty to ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
          • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.

          • Proficiency in computer knowledge

         MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

          • Five years of experience in performance or quality improvement.
          • Three years of management experience 
          • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Service or related field

          PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

          • Four years or more of management experience
          • Demonstrated project management background
          • Master's degree or higher in a related field
          • Project Management Certification

          WORK ENVIRONMENT:

          •  Primarily based in a business office setting with occasional travel required for service locations, meetings and training. Potential eligibility for a hybrid schedule.

           SALARY RANGE:

          • $85,000-$95,000
