Cut To Length - Production Support (7:00am - 3:00pm)

Job Summary
In this position, the Production Support position plays a key role in the organization’s efficient operation ensuring that goals are met surrounding safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery providing a great customer experience.

 Role and Responsibilities:

• Receives, inspects and stocks inbound raw materials for production.
• Assembles customer orders and packages to specifications as required.
• Performs data entry for processed fulfilled orders.
• Loads completed order products onto trucks for delivery.
• Completes bill of ladings for outbound shipments.
• Operates Forklifts, Electric Overhead Cranes and Warehouse Tractor.
• Operates Rail Car Mover and moves and unloads rail cars.      
• Operates shear for sample testing.
• Assembles, pallets and skids per order requirements.
• Maintains housekeeping in work area.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Able to read a tape measure down to a 1/16^th of an inch.
• 3 years or more experience in warehouse setting preferred.
• Steel industry background preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Experience loading & unloading steel products preferred.
• Experience with mobile equipment preferred.
