GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the administrative oversight of assigned programs including staff supervision and development, quality assurance functions, and program administration.  Ensure timely and accurate weekly staff, program, and member schedules.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years experience working with people with disabilities, two years supervisory experience, BA/BS degree in special education, psychology, social work, or related field required.

JOB TASKS 

 

  1. Fulfill all Job Functions and Expectation Duties of the Director
  2. Ensure all functions below level of Director are filled.
  3. Maintain contractual obligations with various funding sources.
  4. Maintain acceptable levels of service throughout the program.
  5. Oversee human resources practices within the program including recruitment, orientation, training, and retention.
  6. Ensure appropriate program financial management.
  7. Oversee progressive program development.
  8. Ensure members' health, safety and well-being.
  9. Develop and ensure compliance with Department of Human Services Policies and Procedures in regards to member and 

        program funds.

  1. Ensure the adequacy of members' employment and recreation.
  2. Oversee the annual Individual Habilitation Plan for program membership.
  3. Ensure appropriate member/staff relations.
  4. Ensure program compliance with all licensing standards to include development of licensing inspections and protocols.
  5. Oversee the Periodic Service Review for the program and ensure appropriate quality control standards are in place.
  6. Cooperate with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any

         inspection or investigation

  1. Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
  2. All Other Duties as Assigned.

 

SHIFT    

Mon – Fri, various shifts, evenings and weekends minimum 16 hrs after 3pm and one weekend day per month; minimum 40 hours a week required, more if needed to get the job done
