Project Management Office - Integration Specialist

The Position:

The Integration Specialist, reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) Sr. Director, is responsible for coding and configuring middleware data mapping, objects, and related processes between Barrett Distribution and Client systems.

This position works 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday. The salary range for this position is $85K- $95K per year.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Develop the code and processes to connect our Client’s retail trading partners to Barrett’s Cleo Clarify Integration system.
• Work collaboratively with the internal technical and project teams to define and develop unique solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Hold primarily responsibility for implementing new Cleo Clarify products and ensuring a seamless transition from legacy versions.
• Coordinate with Clients and internal teams to implement API interfaces, including integrating EDI with external ERP, ecommerce, and warehouse management systems (WMS), so that order, inventory, shipment, and other data flows effectively between all parties.
• Build SQL queries and stored procedures to assist in data capture.
• Create technical documentation such as data mappings, flow diagrams, test cases, and support documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug code issues and incorporate those learnings into future work to steadily improve code quality.
• Track and report on status, challenges, risks, and opportunities to ensure internal and external teams are up to date and able to make the appropriate course corrections.
• Assist in defining and implementing agile best practices and project management methodologies for technology related projects and routine technical work.
• Follow PMO and IT best practices, standards, and policies and identify new ways of working more efficiently.
• Effectively use productivity and project management systems, such as ClickUp and Planview Clarizen, Visio, OneNote, Excel and Word for technical and status documentation.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, small team environment, with tight timelines and changing priorities.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for Team Offsite Meetings, Customer Meetings, and Vendor events as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or similar subject area. 8+ years of equivalent work experience may be considered in leu of degree
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification preferred

• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in an Integration, EDI, or similar technical production or application development role.
• General experience with EDI and/or other data structures (Positional flat file or tilde delimited flat file, XML files)
• Demonstrated experience in the design, code, test, debug, document, and maintenance of moderately complex programs using Cleo products like, Harmony, Clarify 5 or Cleo Integration Cloud.
• SOAP/HTTP experience
• API development experience
• Strong SQL Skills, Oracle Platform preferred
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Analytical and detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Takes the initiative to research and resolve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex concepts into terms and format appropriate for the audience.
• Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills with ability to work well under pressure and problem solve across a variety of business processes
• Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.  Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail
