Louisville facility has an opening for a Maintenance planner. The maintenance planner is a key component of the long term reliability of the facility and is responsible for the development of routine predictive, preventative plans as well as break / Fix and shutdown planning. The maintenance planner is responsible for creating high quality job plans for all maintenance activity at the site. All maintenance and contractor work at site must be properly planned prior to execution. High Quality job plans are required for each job and will include safety, the right talent and skills, the right parts, critical instructions, reasonable timing and proper permits and coordination with operations. The Maintenace planner will work closely with suppliers, and the maintenance team to ensure that all jobs are properly planned and kitted prior to execution.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan all maintenance work
  • Assemble job kitting
  • Spec jobs and order parts
  • Design job plans, evaluating the time and resources needed
  • Arrange contractors needs,
  • Post evaluation of jobs for job plan accuracy and performance. 
  • Create and support safety and environmental compliance in all plans 
  • Utilize MP2/SAP data base for planning and records
  • Review work requests entered and prioritize
  • Create job plans for all contractor work with estimated completion time, needed down time, equipment affected and cost of job
  • Evaluate critical equipment list and give recommendations to changes
  • Complete asset strategies for all critical assets in plant
  • Enter all new equipment data into MP2/SAP
  • Ensure all maintenance documents are filed according to RIM
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts for store room inventory 
  • Create and maintain PM plans in system 
  • Create critical spares inventory and reorder points 
  • Maintain maintenance job hazard analysis records  
  • Maintain maintenance SOP and SMP records
  • Maintain mechanical integrity procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence
  • Strong Maintenance Knowledge – How work gets done and what skills are needed to safety accomplish the tasks
  • Strong communicator – ability interface between operations and maintenance
  • Contract management – Ability and understanding of OSHA/other Codes to ensure compliance with contract activities for construction, excavation,. Electrical work etc
  • Computer skills – ability to work in SAP/M3 etc.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Maintenace Planning or Scheduling in an industrial environment
  • SAP experience
