POSITION TITLE: Software Engineer - ERP
REPORTS TO: Director Engineering

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Software Engineer in the ERP Team, you will find a senior team composed of people from different countries and areas of expertise who will be happy to guide you through your career. The ERP team is responsible for the integration of all the Backcountry Systems with our Enterprise Resource Management system in a full cloud environment with complex architecture designs supporting massive data loads following CI/CD practices and interesting engineering challenges. 

 

We need your help in every stage of the software development cycle following agile practices, but also to become an integral engineer able to contribute to other areas such as production monitoring, performance testing or incident management.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the product owner and the team lead to consume the team backlog.
  • Partner other engineers for code reviews, analysis or design sessions.
  • Own your stories and accomplish every initiative objective with constant quality deliveries.
  • Monitor systems executions and performance of all the systems.
  • Support incidents impacting the team’s systems.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer and documentation.
  • Write performance and efficient code.
  • Guarantee software quality.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:   

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong professional proficiency in English.
  • Working with Scrum Agile methodologies.
  • Working remotely.
  • Strong understanding of architectural styles and patterns like queues, REST, orchestration, event driven, domain driven.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL database engines.
  • Experience with JAVA.
  • Experience with JavaScript for backend, with application servers like NodeJS.
  • Experience with UNIX servers. LI-RB1 #BTP
