SERVICE ADVISOR (JACKSON, TN)

Purpose of Position:  Intake service repair orders from customers.  Inform Shop Foreman/ Supervisor and/ or Service Technician regarding customer complaint. 

Supervises:  N/A

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide customer service inline with Elite Support standards.
• Enter into computer system customer initial complaint and information to create new work orders. 
• Relay complaint to proper personnel to initiate repairs to vehicle.
• Communicate with customer of technician’s findings.  Relay customer approval or denial to shop foreman/ supervisor.  
• Ensure documentation is complete for warranty purposes
• Complete customer transaction by ensuring invoice billing is correct.
• Other duties may be assigned as listed job duties are not comprehensive and should not be construed as such.  This job description is subject to change.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Customer Service focused. 
• Able to work through multiple transactions and/ or interactions simultaneously.
• Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Compute whole, fraction, and decimal numbers with a calculator.
• Basic computer usage and navigation knowledge.

Preferred Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of general repairs.
