Server - Restaurant

We are looking for a part-time Server to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests.

As a server, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting customers, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout their experience.
• Taking food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Writing patrons’ food orders on order slips, memorizing orders, or entering orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
• Engaging with customers in a courteous and respectful manner, and answering questions about menu options and specials.
• Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions and upsell items.
• Communicating with the kitchen staff and the manager to ensure the quality and timeliness of the orders.
• Serving food and drinks to customers, and checking on them often to ensure their satisfaction.
• Taking payments, and handling cash and credit transactions.
• Clearing and resetting tables, and helping with other cleaning and sanitizing tasks as needed.
• Following all health and safety regulations and policies.

To be a successful server, you should have:

• Previous serving experience in a restaurant setting.
• A flexible availability, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A friendly, outgoing, and customer-oriented personality.
• A professional appearance and demeanor, and a willingness to adhere to the dress code and grooming standards.
• A strong work ethic, and a team player attitude.
• A high level of attention to detail, and a good memory.
• A passion for food and drinks, and a desire to learn and grow.
