Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Supervisor for our Distribution Team in Louisville, Kentucky. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will maintain the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision to create a safe, organized, and productive work environment. You will oversee all day-to-day operations of the distribution center including budgets, inventory, logistics, storage, shipping, and receiving.

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals
• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of product
• Responsible for execution and implementation of all procedures regarding picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Manage inventory product and loss control including periodic inventory counts
• Establish continuous improvement practices to ensure that inventory levels are accurately reported and reconciled to shelved product
• Monitor physical inventory variances and limit internal adjustments for lost and found parts.
• Develop and implement warehouse operations systems including workflows and action plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards
• Assist in new product introductions such as product packaging and inventory management
• Obtain and review quotes from parcel and freight vendors
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Enforce and create safety policies and procedures
• Conduct safety training for warehouse Associates 

Warehouse Supervisor Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of warehouse management experience
• Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of Associates
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proficient knowledge of inventory processes
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of organization and multiple departments
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Automotive industry knowledge and background is a plus
