We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Operations Manager to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities:   

  • Oversee team operations to guarantee adherence to regulations set by airlines, airports, ports, and other relevant authorities.  
  • Introduce process improvements, as necessary.  
  • Strategize, predict, coordinate, and convey production plans when required.  
  • Lead, inspire, and support a sizable team.  
  • Evaluate and refine policies to ensure compliance with safety protocols.  
  • Guarantee compliance with OSHA, Safe Program, and DOT standards/training. 
  • Formulate and execute departmental policies and procedures, along with associated training schedules.  
  • Track transportation expenses and generate management-requested reports. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in transportation, preferably in the food manufacturing sector. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. 
  • Familiarity with operational sequences. 
  • Contract negotiation skills. 
  • Team player with the ability to work independently. 
  • Effective and articulate communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Strong planning, coordination, communication, and leadership abilities. 
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, adept at navigating a dynamic environment. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent with a commitment to follow-through. 
  • Capability to interact with department heads and team members, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy. 
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and diverse clientele, requiring a hands-on approach to guest needs. 
  • Timely completion of assigned tasks within strict deadlines. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferred experience with purchasing software. 
  • Flexibility with different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 Annually
