We are thrilled to present an enticing opportunity for a Class “C” Driver to join our esteemed DO&CO Team in Des Plaines, IL.

What you will do:

As a small truck driver, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting item containers between our DO&CO Des Plaines and Detroit locations. Your daily tasks will involve navigating various driveways, alleyways, high traffic roadways, and industrial routes, which may include operating in tight spaces with low overhead clearance. A strong history of safe driving, expertise in backing maneuvers, and a dedication to exceptional customer service are essential attributes for this role.

A day as a Class “C” Driver 

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities, third-party vendors, and our Detroit location.
• Load/unload truck according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.
• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

What you'll have:

• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Valid Class “C” Driver’s License. 
• Must Pass a criminal background check.
• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.
• Majority of duties are performed outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
