We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Sanitation Supervisor to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities:   

  • Manages the in-house sanitation employees and third-party cleaning vendor to ensure all areas of the facility are maintained to proper sanitation and cleaning schedules that meet DO & CO hygiene standards.  
  • Leads the routine cleaning of the locker room; partners with the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the unit meets the company’s, industries and regulatory standards for sanitation.  
  • Monitors the chemical supply inventory, PPE, & cleaning equipment to ensure replenishment of all supplies are maintained 
  • Inform necessary managers of inventory and supplies needs. Partner to place necessary orders.  
  • Assists in scheduling of sanitation employees.   
  • Enforce employee schedules and sanitation schedules are being followed in accordance with the company guidelines.  
  • Delegate employee tasks and responsibilities; make necessary changes when needed based on operational demand.  
  • Provides support before and during customer audits, health department inspections, or any other scheduled or unscheduled inspections.  
  • Coordinates with Food Safety and Hygiene on Environmental Testing.  
  • Investigate accidents; prepare and maintain accurate and thorough required reporting to ensure compliance of all documents needed.  

  

Qualifications:  

  • Previous experience in sanitation. Comprehensive understanding of internal sanitation programs.   
  • Proactive and self-organized. Ability to manage through a substantial workload.  
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment.  
  • Strong time mgmt. skills. Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Platforms; Ex. Word, Excel, Outlook  
  • Excellent communication skills. Bilingual Preferred.  
  • Bachelor´s Degree preferred.

  • Estimated Salary Range: $62,500 - $70,000 Annually
