CDL Truck Driver

We have an incredible opportunity to join our growing Transportation team as a CDL Truck Driver in our New York unit.

 Responsibilities: 

• Transporting meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport. 

• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications, and equipment handling. 

• Ensure flights are always catered for correctly. 
• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely. 

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately. 

• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a CDL driver. 

• Valid commercial driver license type A or B. 
• Airbrake endorsement required. 
• Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ) per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209). 
• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise, must be comfortable in different environments. 

• Most duties are performed outside in all weather conditions. 
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds. 

• Must be able to work at heights of up to 20-25 feet. 
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours. 
• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers. 

• High school diploma preferred.
