Catalyst Construction Group has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team!
 

Catalyst is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to manage the flow of all documentation throughout the construction process including, but not limited to, request for information, change orders, contracts, and scope changes.

Responsibilities 

  • Receive, log, and track plans and specification as the architect issues them
  • Assist the project manager to determine changes in scope resulting from revisions and bulletins issued
  • Maintain accurate and current transmittals and punch lists. Issue logs, meeting minutes and daily reports while ensuring that team members are aware of current changes, additions and deletions
  • Responsible for the submittal process including, but not limited to, gathering information from the construction manager, monitoring the submission, schedule, status, and tracking of same
  • Handle requests for information, change order requests, change orders, contracts, scope changes, and payment applications in an orderly, updated manner
  • Track and file progress photos
  • Maintain current vendor director and list; distribute to team members

Qualifications and Skills 

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent preferred with a minimum of one-two years’ experience
  • Knowledge of construction documents
  • Ability in planning, organizing and implementing work priorities to ensure the orderly flow of construction documents throughout the construction process
  • Ability to interact, develop and maintain a positive working relation with personnel on all levels, both within the company and with clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Capable of managing upwards of 2-3 projects and balance the workload of each of these projects and other initiatives successfully 
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, Procore, Excel and Profiler
