 We're looking for Senior Inventory Planning Analyst

 

Responsibilities:   

 

  • Train/mentor other employees (once fully trained)
  • Assist manager with special projects.
  • Support facilitation of the inventory projection process on a monthly basis between Supply Chain and Finance
  • Document and challenge inventory planning assumptions based on the analysis of historical data forecasted volumes.
  • Incorporate product trends in to inventory forecast models
  • Collaborate with Demand Analysts to tie forecast accuracy KPI’s into the inventory planning process.
  • Generate accurate and timely inventory forecast reports for Christie Digital product lines by market segment and/or geographic region.
  • Perform inventory forecast reviews integrating historical data, operational plan vs actual, and statistical analysis.
  • Develop inventory models, incorporating current and future products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate reporting and analysis of data.
  • Measure inventory forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate inventory forecast performance.
  • Support inventory outlier reviews with Business Unit/Site Materials, Operations, and Purchasing teams.
  • Perform reviews of Master Data management, such as ABC velocity reviews, MTO/MTS decisions, etc.
  • Take the lead to continuously review, report, analyze and make recommendations to cross functional leaders to optimize inventory levels in concert with product availability.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities.

The experience and skills we value: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics or statistics
  • On the job experience 3-5 years
  • APICS certification a plus, but not required.  Strongly suggest hired candidate pursue APICS certification, depending on experience.
