Light Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the operation of the repair workshop, including parts procurement, stocktaking, workload prioritization, and performing mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Ensure repairs are carried out with precision and efficiency, upholding our stringent standards.
• Undertake general maintenance tasks, including servicing and repairs such as brakes, suspension, steering and drivetrain, catering to both European and non-European vehicles such as Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans, Iveco Daily, Toyota Hilux and Hiace.
• Conduct diagnostic analyses and interpretation

Skills & Experience:

We seek candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in several of the following areas:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualifications
• Proficient with scan/diagnostic equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to assess repairs, estimate time, materials, and resources required, and oversee repairs to completion.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Perform 12v automotive electrical repairs.
