We are currently searching for a Contracting & Sr. Commissions Specialist to join our team. The Contracting & Sr. Commissions Specialist helps support and prepare information relating to WoodmenLife Contracted Sales Representatives. WoodmenLife is one of the best places to work in Omaha and has been in business for 130 years. We are looking for someone who: 

  • Supports requests relating to the Organization’s commission system and processes necessary adjustments
  • Recalculates commissions and various bonuses for the sales force 
  • Initiates transactions for off-cycle pay
  • Maintains records and processes changes for new hires, promotions, demotions or terminations of WoodmenLife Sales Representatives
  • Ensures licensing and license renewal of all WoodmenLife Sales Representatives
  • Conducts filing to State Insurance Departments for all new sales representative appointments, renewals and cancelations.
  • Conducts audits to confirm commission calculations each semi-monthly pay run.    
  • Meets expectations with accurate, complete, and timely service
  • Fosters effective business relationships
  • Supports the team environment by assisting with the additional responsibilities as needed
  • Conducts Employment Verifications for sales force
  • Receives and reviews requirements for contract fulfillment for WoodmenLife Sales Representatives       
  • Reviews Credit, Background and Drug screening reports daily and communicate results.
  • Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality in accordance with the expectations established by your supervisor and WoodmenLife policy

We need someone who has: 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to work with little supervision or work independently
  • Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner
  • Ability to analyze and recognize inconsistencies or irregularities in data collected for commission calculations
  • Ability to understand compensation packages and corresponding schedules
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service
  • Engages well with others and passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience
  • General understanding of insurance industry preferred but not required
