Work Schedule: In office Mon-Thurs, remote on Fridays

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

The HR Coordinator will focus on all employee lifecycle operations including, but not limited to assisting with employee onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, and compliance. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure integrity and accuracy of our data and programs. This role requires a high level of flexibility and attention to detail. This role will offer the opportunity to work closely with all sides of the organization and participate in other HR Team functions and related projects as needed.  

  • Provide Ceridian Dayforce related transactional support and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain electronic records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, benefit information.) and ensure all employment requirements are met.
  • Update employee information accurately and timely in the HRIS for all employee lifecycle changes
  • Create, manage, and update HR documentation on SharePoint sites
  • Provide reporting and analysis, audit, and compliance support
  • Assist in communicating and scheduling candidates for the background screening process
  • Support employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, systems and tools
  • Provide support for annual HR processes
  • Communicate and track quarterly testing for the DOT Drug and Alcohol program
  • Maintain Kinetik’s organizational charts
  • Redirecting HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
  • Responding to internal and external HR related inquires or requests
  • Serves as the point of contact for unemployment claims, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provides support for the onboarding/new hire process of office and field employees
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
  • Keep in compliance with SOX control timelines and procedures
  • Support the Kinetik recruiting function with items such job postings, maintaining job descriptions and scheduling interviews
  • Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents.
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related degree preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years prior experience in an administrative or HR role
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  •  

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional driving may be needed.
  • Will be working in an office environment with long periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards 
  • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
  • Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
