Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, after hours as needed due to business necessity 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

The Manager of Compensation will manage and oversee the Company’s direct pay and incentive programs, along with driving the compensation philosophy and strategy.

 

  • Understand the Company’s compensation plans and administrative processes covering base salary, Short and Long term incentive programs
  • Accountable for developing all meeting materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, including competitive data and plan design alternatives
  • Independently manage complex projects covering all areas of executive compensation including changes to regulatory provisions, employee communication regarding executive and long-term incentive compensation programs, analyzing effectiveness of current executive programs, ad-hoc report and analysis requests
  • Assist in the development of performance management and performance driven pay policies and plans
  • Participate in external compensation surveys and interpret competitive compensation data, present observations to management, and recommend actions based on analysis
  • Conduct job evaluations of new and revised positions using methods such as market pricing and internal equity comparisons.
  • Serve as the primary person responsible for the administration and management of the Company’s stock plans
  • Monthly reconciliation, reporting on stock exercises and release, coordinating share transfers, uploading awards, coordinating SEC requirements with legal department
  • Develop and manage planning materials for the annual equity compensation process and share budget process
  • Prepare reports and provide analytical support for ongoing activities, plans and program, special projects and initiatives
  • Responsible for staying current on the equity and compensation best practices for Midstream industry
  • Accountable for research, analysis, design, implementation, communication, and administration of long-term incentive plans for all eligible employees, ensuring alignment with business objectives and shareholder interests
  • Partner without external consultants on compensation related planning
  • Effectively and consistently manage changing priorities in a high paced environment while providing support to key stakeholders and team member
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, finance or accounting
  • 10 or more years of experience (Preferred)
  • Experience with Performance Stock Awards (Preferred)
  • Candidate with prior experience working with Dividend Reinvestment Programs preferred
  • CEP certification preferred
  • Experience in being the primary point of contact for accounting, legal and finance counterparts with regards to stock plan events and data.
  • Working knowledge of equity compensation concepts, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, experience with stock plan administration systems (AST and / or Fidelity).
  • Possesses a high degree of skill in presenting in-depth explanations, analyses and solutions
  • Proven ability to dissect complex issues and identify optimal outcomes
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality

 

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
  • Occasional driving may be needed to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed
  • Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
  • Will require lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 15 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis
