JIS - Automotive Quality Parts Inspector

Jasper Innovative Solutions is looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing products. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Basic knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential. The goal is to ensure that our products are preferred by our customers so that we can achieve long-term success.

*This position will be moving from Leavenworth, IN to Jasper, IN within the next 3-6 months*

 What you’ll do:

• Approve incoming parts by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; imputing data into quality database.
• Ensuring inventory on hand meets quality standards and removes any non-conforming product.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with company policies.
• High attention to detail
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Must have a good working knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
