Assistant Planner - Stylerunner

About the Role: 

We have an exciting role available for an Assistant Planner to join our Stylerunner Planning team. Reporting to the Merchandise Planner, You will be responsible for the maximization of store sales and profit through inventory management, including the allocation of stock, analysing sales, line forecasting, and reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring sales data and stock levels and keeping informed of changing market conditions
  • Stock allocation, replenishment and pick-ups across multiple brands and classes
  • Replenishment management ensuring in-stock and fulfilment  
  • Consolidation of inventory between stores
  • Forecasting core programs and liaising with vendors
  • Maintenance of WSSI & Buysheet
  • Weekly Reporting
  • Supplier Purchase Order and Contract management to ensure the effective and timely allocation and delivery of stock
  • Liaising with management on long-term planning and sales promotions
  • Establishing working plans according to seasonal and budgetary requirements
  • Anticipating consumer trends and determining quantity, style and quality of goods to be purchased
  • Post Seasonal department and categories analysis and reporting
  • Creation and maintenance of vendor packs
  • Markdown analysis and event planning
  • Management of month end process in-line with Company requirements.
  • Running ad-hoc reports as required

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated 2-3 years’ experience in a buying and planning space is desirable
  • Degree in a related discipline is preferred
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail including accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
  • Must be organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Highly Dynamic and adaptable work ethic
  • Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction.
  • Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider team
